About Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)
Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is the study of human experiences, communication, thinking, language & behaviour.
What does NLP mean?
Neuro - the way we experience the world through our 5 senses of sight, hearing, touch, smell & taste
Linguistic - is the language we use to describe our internal world.
Programming - how we encode this information at the deepest level in our minds.
NLP can be applied in many contexts to create change & enhance performance.
"What you think. . . so becomes!"
NLP helps you to focus on what you want in your life rather than all the things you don't want. When you change your focus to support your goals, they happen much more easily than you might imagine.
One of the pre-suppostions of NLP implies that we all have all the resources within us that we need in our lives ~ NLP taps into our inner resources to create the positive changes we seek.
NLP was created by Richard Bandler & John Grindler back in the 70's & is based upon their studies & research into Milton Erickson & Hypnotherapy.
